Cake Ann was a great choice for our wedding! My husband and I moved from MA to CO a year before our wedding (early COVID as well) which made picking cake and desserts hard! Before we left Inga made us a box of desserts to take home to try. Her bakery is just incredible! Everything was so delicious and looked picture perfect. We came back to MA a few months before our wedding and Inga let us try some unique cakes. We wanted something really good but also really different. The cake was the only dessert i actually got to try on our wedding day so thank god it was good! Inga was just so sweet overall! Highly recommend.

We went with Cake Ann for our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were AMAZING! I sent them a picture on Pinterest for my inspo for our cake and they made it perfect! It looked exactly like it, I was so impressed. It also tasted so good! We didn’t have any leftover cupcakes at the wedding because everyone loved them so much, they even got seconds! If you want delicious cake for a great price I’d go to Cake Ann!
The sweets here are made in the European style in that they are not overly sweet, they are in fact just the perfect amount of sweet. The ingredients are of the best quality. And don't get me started on the savory items...Inga makes a goat cheese and vegetable galette that is to die for. It's my go-to for lunch. Between the view of the boats and the lovely fireplace, this cafe is like a warm hug.

For our special event, we chose a 2-tier cutting cake that was nothing short of spectacular. The peacock teal fondant with baroque-style gold detailing made it a stunning centerpiece that wowed our guests. The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful, with every bite offering a burst of fresh, balanced flavors. We also had a 10" "sheet" cake for the larger event, which was equally impressive, rich, moist, and incredibly decadent. What truly set Cake Anne apart was their personalized approach. They invited us for an in-person cake tasting, tailored to our preferences, making it a special experience. They even created a custom flavor for us and provided a video outlining design decisions, ensuring every detail was perfect. Many other places offered preset tasting boxes or had us take cake home, which didn't feel special. Cake Anne made sure the tasting was memorable and even matched the cake color to our teal swatch. We can't thank Inga and her team enough for their hard work and dedication. If you're looking for a cake that combines beauty, flavor, and a personal touch, Cake Anne is the way to go. Cake Ann has excellent pastries and expresso drinks! The team is so professional and friendly. It is a great place for a conversation, meetings, or just time alone looking out on the water. It is my new favorite place! I have no recommendations for improvement. They make the best cappuccino on Cape Ann! Keep up the good work!
Incredible cake and absolutely loved working with Amanda! We had 3 different flavors: 1 that was a heart-shaped cake and 2 that were sheet cakes. All of our cake went and our guests are still talking about them. We can't wait to go back to Cake Ann for all of our future event cakes!
Truly incredible cake for a great price! We got a small heart-shaped cake to celebrate eloping, and it is one of the best cake I've ever had. Lemon cake with buttercream. To. Die. For. (And I often don't love buttercream!) If we do a larger celebration, we will absolutely be getting cake from them. I also was doing so many things the afternoon before that we forgot to pick up the cake so my sister in law grabbed it the morning after we were scheduled to, with no fuss.
Inga and the entire Cake Ann crew really exceeded our Wedding Cake expectations. Not only did they execute on our 'Disco Nana' vision - they made the most delicious vegan cake - so good that no one even questioned that it was made without any dairy or eggs. The flavors - chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, and vanilla cake with praline buttercream - were to die for. We couldn't recommend Cake Ann enough. They are terrific!
